Overview
The Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt desert in the world. This vast plane of salt covers over 10 thousand square kilometers of surface and contains 10 billion tons of salt. Located in the southwest of Bolivia, over 3560 meters above sea level. Major features within this vast salt flats lies surprises such as:
- Giant cactuses up to 10 meters high, in the middle of a pure white paradise.
- A train cemetery, don’t miss the chance to take photos here!
- The amazing Tunupa volcano.

Uyuni Salt Flats : Day 1
- Early in the morning transfer from Uyuni bus station or airport
- 09:00 Breakfast
- 10:00 am Departure to the Salar by 4x4, witnessing salt processing in Colchani along the way
- Lunch at the Salt Hotel Museum
- Salt Processing
- Visit Incahuasi Island
- Night at Hostel (rooms with heating, private bathroom, water hot)
- Dinner

- Visit Tahua village
- Visit mummies and chullpas
- Visit Thunupa Volcano
